Once you have that a nice tree skirt over the water holder to
the trunk will also help to keep your cat from wanting to drink
the water. There a chemical out on the market to help preserve
the tree for the holidays, but they will not preserve you cat.
These chemicals can harm your cat, or even cause death. Most the
time put the tree up keep it watered everyday and can add couple
of aspirin to the water to help the life of the tree.
